Croatia Yacht Club terms and conditions, hereinafter referred to as CYC
1. Bookings
After the booking was confirmed booking is binding. The client must verify all information available on the booking confirmation / invoice. For errors client must contact us immediately. A booking of boat, motorhome arrangements is to consider as a group booking where a booker/agent is the main spokesman for contacts with CYC. He has responsibility for payments and forward all information to the other participants in the group and that required licenses is carried in the original to the destination.
2. Payment
Down payment 50% of the total price is to be paid the latest 7days after the booking was confirmed. Final payment of 50% is to be paid 40days before charter, rental. If payment periods are entering in each other both payments goes in one. Client can choose to pay by credit card on our website or through our account with IBAN no. (booking number as reference). When paying by credit card, CYC charges a fee of 1,9% of the paid amount. Repayment is made to the booker in each group. If CYC does not receive payment as agreed CYC has the right to consider the booking as cancelled.
3. Prices
All prices are calculated in Euro.
4. Cancellation
In case of cancellation more than 40 days before departure CYC has the right to keep the down payment. In case of cancellation 39 days to 0 hours before departure CYC has the right to keep all the payment. If the client or CYC finds an other client for the cancelled booking the payment will be returned reduced with the eventual costs for CYC.
5. Insurance
Boat, motor home is fully insured for damage, including equipment, and liability to third person. No insurance for personal injuries and property. Check your personal insurance.
6. Qualification criteria and check in / out
Competence requirements in Croatia: One person on board (boat) must have navigation skills for the charted boat size and one person must have VHF license. Documents must appear in the original. CYC takes no financial responsibility if the certificate is missing or invalid. Note that skipper can be hired. Special conditions apply to booking with skipper. The skipper is responsible for the handling of the boat. The participants (crew) are responsible for the damage they cause on board (boat). For Campers driving license category B is required.
Check in of the boat / camper from 17.00h on the arrival date.
Check-out at 09.00h on the departure date. Note that the boat / camper must be back in base latest by 18.00 the day before check-out. The inspection and diving must be done in daylight. As good service we are trying to make the check in as early as possible. Check in / out must be done in daylight and takes up to 2hours which is included in the rental period. CYC or other agents team on the base and the skipper / driver will go through the equipment and handling.
Extra bed (in the salon and in camper) is not the same quality as standard bed.
7.Deposit
Boat / camper is fully insured, but the deductible must be deposited by the crew at the check-in, cash or credit card. The deposit varies by boat / camper size (see booking confirmation) from 500 Euro. In case of damage CYC will charge the equivalent amount of the deposit and if the damage costs are higher then the deposit, CYC has the right to keep total deposit. Double deposit for regatta.
8. Unspecified special booking of boat, camper, apartment
Cyc ensures that the participants have accommodation in the same boat, camper, house or hotel depending of what is booked. Specified will be noticed latest two days before departure
9. Cancellation of special events and arrangements
If CYC has reasonable grounds to believe that there are no enough participants for a special arrangement as planed, CYC has the right to cancel the arrangement. In case of cancellation the client must be informed as soon as possible after the decision was made but latest 14days before planed departure.
10. Contact information
The client is responsible to inform CYC about contact details so that he / she can receive all the important messages, such as eventual changes, under the e-mail.
11. Complaints
When problem occurs client must immediately contact the base on the service phone number (emergency number) for correction to take place as soon as possible. If the problem can not be solved client has the right to claim for compensation which must be a written notification no later than at check-out.
12. CYC Satisfied customer warranty
Our goal is that everyone leaves the CYC base fully satisfied. We can not guarantee that the boat or camper always works perfectly, since errors can occur due accident, improper handling, weather, etc.. If the problem can not be solved, we will replace the boat to equal or better. We will look at what has not worked and what has caused inconvenience to our guests and try to find a reasonable solution / claims by agreement.
